Help is just a click or phone call away. American Lung Association resources are available to support those impacted by lung disease.

  • Talk to an Expert
Our Lung Cancer HelpLine is staffed by registered nurses and respiratory therapists ready to help you in any way possible. 1-844-ALA-LUNG or 1-844-252-5864.
  • Connect with Others Facing Lung Disease
Join our free online support communities.
  • Get Help with Caregiving
Sign up for our caregiving support community, a free and simple way for people with lung disease and their families to receive support. It is an online volunteer and caregiving coordination service for lung cancer patients and their families who are coping with immediate or long-term lung cancer issues.
  • Support Groups
Support groups, like our Better Breathers Clubs, are a great way to connect with others going through the same experience as you. Having someone to talk to, even if it is a stranger, can ease many of the burdens you feel as a patient or caregiver.
  • Share Your Story
Sharing your story is therapeutic, not just for you, but for other people diagnosed with lung disease.
  • Get Involved in LUNG FORCE Events
Events like our walks, Expos and patient panels are a great way to meet other people facing lung disease.
